Deposit & Cancellation Policies

One-night stays require payment in full at time of booking. Reservations of two-nights or more require a 50% deposit at time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Cancellations received 14 or more days prior to your arrival date will be refunded in full, less a $25 administrative fee. If less than 14 days advanced notice is given for your cancellation, your deposit is non-refundable. Non-refundable means payment is withheld, even if plans change or unexpected circumstances arise. No refunds on early departures.

Please understand, when we hold a room for you, in most cases our small business is turning away other customers. Non-refundable deposits may not be transferred to gift certificates. If you’re looking for more flexibility, we suggest waiting until your desired dates get closer to see what is available, rather than reserving your room in advance.

Group Cancellation Policy (Three or More Rooms)

Multiple cancellations over the same dates puts a hardship on our small business. In most cases, we have turned away other customers while holding your room. Group cancellations received 21 or more days prior to your arrival date will be refunded in full, less a $25 administrative fee (charged to each reservation). If less than 21 days advanced notice is given for your cancellations, your deposits are non-refundable. Non-refundable means payment is withheld, even if plans change or unexpected circumstances arise.

Reservations Booked Through Third Party Websites

If you choose to make your reservation through an online travel agency (OTA), such as Booking.com or Expedia.com, you are responsible for the policies you agree to through those websites. When you book through an OTA you are not booking directly with Bay Breeze Resort, you are booking through a third party website. Reservations made through an online travel agency must also be cancelled through them.

Gift Certificates

Bay Breeze Resort gift certificates are available. Please call in advance to purchase. We gladly accept Door County gift certificates, to purchase visit: www.doorcounty.com/gift-certificates

Special Requests

Although we strive to fulfill guest requests concerning location, room layout and proximity of accommodations, we are unable to guarantee such requests. Please call in advance with special requests and every effort will be made to honor your request based on resort occupancy. It’s unlikely we’ll be able to make changes to your reservation closer to your arrival date.

Rates | Taxes | Additional Persons | Children

Our rates are seasonal, based on availability, and subject to change. Book early and direct for the best price! Rates are based on double occupancy (two people). There is no capacity for extra beds or cots in our guest rooms. Additional people (three-years-old and older) are charged $10 per night, per person when using existing beds. Children two-years-old and younger stay free.

Minimum Stay Requirements

There is a minimum stay requirement for most days. There is limited availability for one-night stays. One-night stays require payment in full at time of booking.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In Time: 3:00pm-8:00pm
If you will be arriving after 8:00pm, please call in advance to make arrangements with the office.

Check-Out Time: 10:30am or before

No Smoking| Designated Smoking Area

For the comfort and safety of our customers, our guest rooms and all common areas (balconies, patios, beach, parking lot) are non-smoking. A cleaning fee will be imposed if there is an occurrence. Smoking is only permitted in the designated area in our back parking lot. Please be advised, beginning in 2026 the entire property will be smoke-free.

Private Beach

We invite our guests to use our small private beach access across the street. Registered guest use only. All other entry is prohibited. We do not own the homes on either side of the beach. We ask that you respect our neighbors and their property. There is no smoking permitted on the beach. The size of the beach varies depending on the lake level.

No Elevator

We offer rooms on the first and second floor. Second floor rooms are accessible by stairs only. We do not have an elevator. If you have a floor request, please call us to make your reservation and every effort will be made to honor your request based on resort occupancy.

Free Parking | Expanded Parking Lot

We offer free onsite parking for our guests. Traveling with your boat, kayak or small watercraft? Our expanded parking lot is perfect for parking large vehicles and trailers. Please register all vehicles with the front desk. Unregistered vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

No Pets

No pets or emotional support animals are allowed. A cleaning fee will be imposed if there is an occurrence. You will also be asked to leave with no refund for the unused portion of your reservation. We gladly accept service animals that are specifically trained to aid a person with a disability.

Seasonal Outdoor Pool & Whirlpool

The outdoor heated pool and whirlpool are open May 16-September 21, 2025, weather permitting. Registered guest use only. All other entry is prohibited. Pool towels are provided. The pool and whirlpool are closed for the season starting Monday, September 22, 2025.

No Bicycles in Guest Rooms

Bicycles are not permitted in guest rooms or on balconies, patios or railings. We invite our guests to use our storage shed for bikes, kayaks and sporting goods. Please bring a lock to secure your bicycle.

No Grilling or Campfires

No grilling or campfires are permitted on our grounds or beach. Public use charcoal grills can be found at Peninsula State Park.

Baby Equipment

We do not supply baby equipment. We recommend our local BabyQuip to make your trip easy, safe and relaxing!

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Our Tesla charging stations are for guest use only and are not open to the public. Please register your electric vehicle with the front desk. Unregistered vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

No Show Reservations

No Show reservations are financially responsible for the entire cost of their reservation. No Show reservations will be held until 8:30am the day following their scheduled day of arrival.

Lost & Found

Lost & Found items are held for 30 days and then donated to a local charity. Please call us if you’d like your item(s) returned. We ask that you pay for shipping costs.
